Saxon Hall — Registered Architect, Hobart Tasmania
Saxon Hall is a registered architect based in Hobart, Tasmania, with a focus on residential, sustainable and heritage design. Growing up on the beaches and farmlands of Tasmania's east coast — surfing, hiking and building things — architecture felt like a natural fit. He studied at the School of Architecture + Design at UTAS, drawn to its hands-on, Learning by Making ethos.
After graduating in 2013, Saxon worked across a range of multidisciplinary practices, taking on architectural, interior design, graphic design and planning projects. In 2017 he joined Morrison & Breytenbach Architects in Hobart, where he deepened his commitment to sustainable, climate-responsive design.
Saxon now runs his own practice, bringing an enhanced skill set that goes beyond standard architectural services into construction procurement and project management — which means a smoother, more collaborative process for clients navigating the Tasmanian building landscape.
He works across residential, multi-residential, tourism, educational and heritage projects throughout Tasmania. His approach is always adapted for the specific climate, landscape and place — and he loves working through the problem-solving side of design as much as the creative. If you'd like to discuss a project, get in touch.
You can also explore his portfolio of completed projects across Hobart, Bruny Island, the Huon Valley and beyond.
