A coastal pavilion, sited for the light and the view
Green Island Point Pavilion is a community shelter for the Green Island Point development at Scamander, on Tasmania’s east coast.
A dark timber form is set carefully into the coastal landscape — sited for the light, the shelter it gives, and the view out to the water.
The result is a quiet, robust gathering place: somewhere for the community to pause, take shelter, and take in the coast.
A shelter should feel like it has always belonged to its coast — dark, quiet, and open to the view.Saxon Hall

Having engaged Saxon to design the community shelter for the Green Island Point development in Scamander, I have witnessed his talent to translate a client’s vision into reality beyond expectations. I would highly recommend Saxon Hall Architecture and look forward to working with him again in future!
